INK FX helps down a down rider

ink3

Michael Barragan is improving daily but will not be able to make the Artistry In Iron show personally. His father along with a few shop employees are heading up to Vegas to work his booth at the Las Vegas Bikefest. The Ink Fx team stepped up and produced t-shirts that are being sold to help with Michael’s unforeseen medical bills. The order was literally put in on Monday am and they will be getting them this afternoon, now that is service. Thanks!

Cycle Zombies Rally

IMG_8940 There are so many events to cover in this little state of California that I had to work the third annual Cycle Zombies event and Wes D. got to experience the first ever-but not the last- Born Free event on Saturday. Duane rode down on the bike and I was lucky enough to catch a ride with Josh from Biltwell. The Cycle Zombies left no stone unturned as they hooked us up with free killer grub from TK Burgers, my new favorite spot, great bands, the Thee Cormans and the chance to see the inside of the Hurley Headquarters, very cool! Dice Magazine, Primos Helmet Designs, Loser Machine, Biltwell, Pinstripping by Sonny Boy and The Choppertown Guys were all on hand to sell and show off their wares. Job well done! You will see more on this event in a upcoming issue of Cycle Source.

Born Free Chopper Show

_MG_3199_0806 copy

Wes D. got to experience the first ever Born Free Chopper Show in Orange County this weekend. The amount of motorcycles that showed up were overwhelming and the crowd was massive. The show started at 12 and ended at six but could of went much longer. Grant and Harpoon were blown away by the great response and are already looking to go bigger next year. Hopefully there isn’t another show so we can all show up. They would like to thank the sponsors that hooked them up with killer products, the giveaways seemed endless. I know you want to see more, so hook yourself up with a subscription of Cycle Source!

The Legendary Buffalo Chip Begins Preparations for Rally Week 2010: ZZ Top Joins the Party

ZZ Top image

After providing rally-goers a world-renowned  array of musical acts and Michael Lichter’s unparalleled motorcycles as art exhibit during Rally Week 2009, the Legendary Buffalo Chip is already kicking it into overdrive to prepare for next year’s rally.  Locked, loaded and ready to grace the Chip’s infamous main amphitheatre stage is rock and roll luminary, ZZ Top. That little ol’ band from Texas is sure to deliver the familiar and intricate riffs that landed them in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in the hearts of fans the world over. The notoriously bearded blues-rock power trio will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary next year and is looking forward to ringing in this musical achievement with a rowdy crowd of Chipsters.
