Softbrake recently introduced a new version of their immensely popular extended brake pedals. The new addition is designed specifically for 2008 – 2010 HD® models. The arm is 1” longer than stock and the fulcrum has been adjusted to match the later application. Users of the early and new versions have reported that Softbrake extended brake pedals provide superior braking control and pedal feedback for safer, more predictable stopping.

Welcome to the next generation of Biltwell helmets. It’s the same lightweight and comfortable shell but with a few significant upgrades. The flake is much bigger and crisper, hence the “Megaflake” name. Vintage style chrome strip around the opening is pure class and only available on a Biltwell. The new liner now has detail stitching and contrasting ventilated panels in the top. The embossed goggle strap has a new shape and an improved snap.

Dave discusses some of the latest success for his new 2:1 Concentric Baffle that drops 10db at full throttle and moves the peak torque down about 1000 rpms. The Engineering department of the University of Texas at Arlington assisted in the baffle design.

This unique creation started as a ’52 Chevy 3/4 ton pick up- part of the cab and bed is pretty much the only thing what’s left of it.Svenmeister Hardcore Kustoms sectioned the cab by 11 inches, the windshield frame got a 6 inch chop, the bed is narrowed by 12 inches, and the roof of course is gone; that’s how this creation got the name “Chevillac Kabriolet” (Cabriolet is German for Convertible). A one of a kind 2×4 11gauge C-notch steel frame was fabricated to hold it.

The new 2009 Boss Fat Cat – 2:1 Concentric Baffle drops 10db at full throttle and moves the peak torque down about 1000 rpms, thus making it more usable and enjoyable. For riders that have a stereo, you can now hear the stereo and run a performance pipe at the same time. The 2009 Boss Fat Cat pipe is low in cruise mode.

World Class” and “Stunning” were a few words that were used to describe Michael Lichter’s 9th Annual Motorcycles as Art Exhibition held during this year’s Sturgis Rally at the Legendary Buffalo Chip. The exhibit entitled ‘Rebel Rousers, Motorcycle Icons that Inspire Us to Ride’ showcased the most important collection of motorcycles and art to ever grace Sturgis and was viewed by thousands of guests.

Photo by Wilman After setting new attendance records at the Broken Spoke Saloons in Sturgis, Jay Allen headed to Bonneville to continue his winning streak. Jay Allen and the Broken Spoke Racing Team defeated two past world record speeds this year at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The beginning of the week was spent fine-tuning and dialing in the 2005 S&S 124 cubic inch single cam motor. It also runs Rob Schopf B-2 heads and a Baker 6 speed tranny right out of the box.

Court House Custom is in Washington Court House, Ohio which is located centrally between Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati. The company is owned by Jason Stritenberger and D.J. Jenkins, two long time friends who have known each other since grade school. Jason and D.J. started welding, building bikes and powder coating in Jason’s garage in 2004. In late 2006 both of them decided to leave long term jobs to follow the American entrepreneurial dream and start their own business doing something they love.

Once again the crew at Licks Cycles has pulled up to the big table with a truly exceptional product. Dubbed the “English Tack Solo Seat” their new line of custom made seats blend the ancient craft of fine European saddle craftsmanship with a somewhat unconventional application to saddle up the modern day iron horse.
More than 350 bikes and 500 riders from around the world converged on Deadwood, SD on Monday, August 3 to take part in the Second Annual Legends Ride hosted by the Legendary Buffalo Chip. A record-breaking $61,600 was raised to benefit a number of Black Hills Charities including the Black Hills Children’s Home and the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame and Museum. Just under $40,000 was raised at last year’s inaugural Legends Ride.

There are certain things that catch my eyes and the Love Cycle logo is one of them. I haven’t seen any of the bikes yet in person, that will happen at The Ground Zero Throwdown. I did spend some time researching them and have become a fan of Jeremiah’s work. From what I hear, the man is in his shop seven days a week bustin and grindin. He is producing some sick rides and you will be seeing him in a upcoming issues of Cycle Source!
