D&D Performance Enterprises, the maker of performance Triumph exhaust, sponsors the “Project Bonneville: Wreck To Winner.”
The Bonneville was found in a salvage yard bearing the scars of a nasty crash.
The series of feature stories appearing in upcoming issues of Café Racer chronicles the incredible transformation of a crash-damaged, 2005 Triumph Bonneville into a show-winning, road-burning café racer.
THE TRANSFORMATION
“Even in these tough economic times, it’s a blast to find motorcycles that can be made strong-running and beautiful with a modest investment,” said Café Racer editor Mike Seate.
The Bonny has since been outfitted with a stunning array of performance and cosmetic upgrades from both Triumph and several leading aftermarket accessory manufacturers including D&D Performance Exhausts for Triumph, Bella Corse, The Tank Shop, Race Tech, Forking By Frank, Pirelli/Metzeler and West Hills Honda.
Before and after images and tech tips from the “Wreck to Winner” Bonneville are on display at www.caferacermag.com which will be updated weekly.
