Ortega Family Benefit Ride
I wanted to thank everyone for stepping up and donating something for our part of the raffle that was done for the Ortega family benefit ride. We had 15 people step up and 65 items were donated just from our crew. The raffle tables had well over 300 items on it. So far the total amount raised for the day is a little more than $8000.00!Way to step up!
The day was spent under the tent as it kept raining but the spirits were high. The grilling job was done by Committed Relief, a non-profit ministry, and they respond to natural disaster and man-made crises across the country and around the world. Over 1000 riders pre registered at $25.00 each and only a 100+ rode in the rain. There were about 1000+ people that showed up and had a great time. Some of the members of the Ortega family were there and they expressed their thanks for all who made the day happen.
