From Behind the Lens Parting is such sweet sorrow By: Colleen Swartz October, 2007 I was raised in a conservative Midwestern family. My parents were more than touched by the great depression and my father served in WWII and Korea. They came from nothing and we had not much more when I was growing up. But we had manners.
